Red Flags

This song is me finally saying everything I should’ve seen from the start. It’s a release of all the frustration and regret I’ve been holding in. You were a walking collection of red flags but I was blind, caught up in the act, ignoring all the signs screaming right at me. From your pink drink Stanley cup to the way you put me down just to feel bigger, it all makes sense now. You tried to control me, made me feel small, but I’m done pretending I didn’t notice. This is my way of taking back control, of calling out the manipulation and reminding myself that I’m worth more than the way you treated me. I’m not falling for it again. Every red flag I ignored is now a warning I’ll never miss. This isn’t just a song, it’s closure. It’s freedom. And it’s me finally walking away.

Notice Me

This song captures the quiet heartbreak of unspoken crushes and classroom daydreams. It tells the story of a student who's falling for someone sitting just inches away, yet feels completely invisible. Between the chaos of the lunchroom and the hum of seventh period, they're watching their crush laugh, talk to someone else, and unknowingly steal their heart a little more each day. Even though they memorize every detail, what she likes, what she says, they're stuck in the background, hoping for a moment of recognition. The chorus is a desperate, repeated question: When are you gonna notice me? It’s a vulnerable and relatable anthem for anyone who's ever felt unseen by the one they care about most.

Over It

A bold and unapologetic response to constant criticism, fake friendships, and body shaming. It comes from someone who’s had enough, fed up with being judged, blamed, and picked apart by people who can’t face their own flaws. Every insult, fake compliment, and dramatic lie gets called out. The repeated line "I'm so over it" becomes a strong declaration of self-worth and resilience. It’s an anthem for anyone done being pushed around and ready to take their voice back.

Stolen Power

This song is my way of calling out the double standards and unfair treatment women deal with every day. I wanted to show how women constantly do the real work emotionally, physically, and mentally while men often get the credit for doing less. I talk about how society judges women for what they wear, tells them to stay quiet, and holds them to impossible beauty standards. Meanwhile, guys can show up however they want and still be praised. This song is me saying I’m tired of it. Women deserve better and I’m not afraid to speak up about it.

Then Why Don't You Act Like It

This song explores the frustration and confusion that come with words of love that don’t match the actions behind them. It captures the pain of feeling ignored or misled by someone who says all the right things but fails to show real care and commitment. The repeated question, "Then why don’t you act like it?" challenges empty promises and highlights the importance of genuine actions over just words. It’s a raw, emotional reflection on wanting honesty, consistency, and true affection instead of surface-level affection.

Racist

This song is a powerful and raw response to the pain caused by hateful words and harmful jokes that have become normalized. It speaks from the perspective of someone deeply affected by slurs and mockery, words that others casually throw around without understanding the real damage they inflict. The lyrics highlight the silence and inaction of bystanders and authority figures, contrasting it with the heavy emotional toll on those targeted. The song rejects the idea that hateful language is just a joke or edgy and calls out the complacency that lets it continue. It’s a declaration of standing up, refusing to be silent or complicit, and being a voice that challenges the cruelty disguised as humor.

The Nicest Kid

This song starts by telling the story of someone else, the “nicest kid in school” who’s misunderstood, picked on, and made to feel invisible. In the first half, I speak about this person in the third person, describing how others treat him unfairly and how his kindness is twisted into something fake. It feels like an outsider looking in, observing the cruelty and loneliness he faces.

But as the song goes on, I reveal that this kid is actually me. I shift from talking about “him” to owning the experience, sharing how I tried to be kind and good, hoping that would protect me or make things better. Instead, I learned that kindness can be seen as weakness by those who want to tear others down.

This way of storytelling lets me express my feelings both from a distance and from a personal place, showing how it feels to be the target while also reflecting on my own struggles. It’s a powerful way to share my story, first by painting the picture of the hurt, then revealing the truth that it’s my own pain and experience I’m singing about.

FRESHMAN

This song captures the whirlwind experience of starting freshman year, the excitement, the chaos, and the emotional highs and lows. It paints a vivid picture of walking into a new environment where everything feels unfamiliar and overwhelming: lockers that seem to stare, trying to fit in, making new friends, dealing with first heartbreaks, and navigating endless drama. Despite the messiness and uncertainty, there’s a sense of hope and growth, embracing every moment, both the laughter and the tears. It’s about finding your place amid the chaos and knowing these memories, no matter how wild or awkward, are ones you’ll never forget.
